Product description
What the device does
The Lunula Laser targets fungus that lives in and under the toenail. The laser light passes through the nail without causing damage to it or the surrounding skin, and the in-office procedure typically takes only minutes with no recovery time required. As little as four 12-minute sessions are needed to treat the affected area.
Because the Lunula uses extremely low wavelengths and power, most patients experience no discomfort, burning or pain. Each treatment is performed while the patient is awake.



Mechanism
How it works
The Erchonia non-thermal Lunula laser targets the fungus and stimulates new clear nail growth. This patented red and violet laser delivers a multifaceted low-level laser therapy approach in the form of two different wavelengths to the affected area, using photonic energy to modulate cellular reactions that target the fungus without adverse reactions to the nail bed, toe or foot.
Research demonstrated that the Lunula laser significantly increased clear nail over a six-month period.
